Description
Coco is Crash Bandicoot's younger sister. She is a highly intelligent bandicoot and possesses vast knowledge about hacking and modern technology. She's always trying to make her big brother's life more sophisticated and sometimes lends him a hand when he sets out on an adventure, either with intel or by tagging along. Coco is also talented with martial arts, a passion she draws from watching kung fu movies.
Trivia
- Coco was created to fill the gap left by Tawna as a female companion, as Sony Computer Entertainment Japan wasn't comfortable with Crash having a sexy girlfriend.
- Coco usually addresses Crash as "big brother", and in Japan, Coco always calls him oniichan (an affectionate word for "brother"). Cortex mimics this trait when he disguises himself as her in Twinsanity.
Progression
Crash 2, Crash 3, CTR
The original design. In Crash 2, the sunlight on her hair is actually a texture and part of the model. Her long eyelashes were removed from Crash 3 onwards.
This model also provided the sprites and animations for The Huge Adventure and N-Tranced.
Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex
Coco's hair is rounder and with less curls. Her ears have rounded tips and her eyes are less shiny than usual. Her eyebrows are thinner, shorter, and more angular.

Crash Nitro Kart, Purple
They grow up so fast! Coco looks more like a teenager now, with a more feminine silhouette. Her ears have gone back to the usual pointy style, and for some reason, she's the only character in the game with five-fingered hands.
Coco has changed her wardrobe a bit, and she's now wearing lipstick. As an aside, the flower icon on her shirt is the same as the one on her laptop.

Crash Twinsanity
Coco ditched her lipstick for some tighter, darker jeans.
Crash Tag Team Racing
The blue flower on Coco's head has finally withered, so she replaced it with a pink one. There's a pink star instead of the flower icon on her shirt, and she has four fingers on each hand again.
Crash of the Titans
Coco bears little resemblance to any of her previous designs, but in turn, she looks more like her brother.
Her head is no longer round and her face looks considerably different. Instead of having a pony tail, her hair is completely loose, while retaining her (now curlier) fringe. She has a blue headband instead of a flower and straighter ears. Her hands are bigger and she has bright fur in both her palms and her stomach, which connects to her muzzle, like Crash.
Mind Over Mutant
Another design revamp gives Coco her old head shape back while making her look older. She got her pony tail back, but her hair is no longer wavy or as long as before. Her eyes are of a different shape, and her irises are much bigger. She was also given visible nails.
Coco has a new outfit and is equipped with goggles, a flashlight holder, and knee pads. The pendant around her neck, as well as the soles of her shoes, have a representative logo much like Crash's paw print in this game - a cog with a heart on the inside and a lightning bolt below it.
