Description
Polar is a baby polar bear adopted as a pet (and occasional transport) by Crash Bandicoot. He barks like a dog and guards Crash's house when he is absent. He was the first of Crash and Coco's pets, followed by Pura and Baby-T.
Variations
In Crash: Boom, Bang!, Polar is anthropomorphic and wears pants.
Trivia
- In Crash Team Racing, Polar was originally intended to share a kart with Pura. Due to technical limitations, they were each put in his own kart.
- Despite not appearing in The Wrath of Cortex, Polar is seen in the concept art for its story inside Crash's house.

Polar is mostly identical, but richer in detail. He spends the entire game wearing N. Trance's brainwashing helmet.

Polar's polygon count is much higher than ever before, and in-game, he's given a realistic fur shader as well. He has his original fur color, though his eyes are now blue and less round, with visible sclera as well. His snout is bigger, and for the first time ever, he has visible teeth (which look weirdly human in appearance).
