Crash Bandicoot 3: WARPED - Triche - Glitches

2 Baby-Ts: In level 11, crack Baby-T's egg open and take him to some weeds before the Checkpoint. Get off Baby-T there, but make sure the checkpoint isn't visible on screen. Walk a few steps forwards to see another Baby-T near the checkpoint, then walk back to the original one you've left behind while making sure the camera is showing the duplicate up ahead. You should be able to take your Baby-T to the next one if you want. If you jump with one of them onto the other, they'll merge and run off.

This happens because when you get off Baby-T, the game assumes you've lost him and will generate a second one in the checkpoint, to give off the illusion that he ran up to that spot.

Baby-T in Triceratops Chase (by Crashnconker): In level 11, take Baby-T up to the spot where he usually drops you off. When he does so, mount him again and don't move. Press the Circle button twice in quick succession (it may be easier to press Circle and R1). If done correctly, you should be able to take Baby-T to the end of the level. You'll experience some slowdowns in the process, which is theorized to be the reason Baby-T was removed from the Triceratops chase.

Demo Funnies (by Keiji Dragon): Boot up the game and remain idle in the title screen. A gameplay demo will eventually pop up. The demo changes every time, so keep waiting until the level Bye Bye Blimps appears. Just before that demo pops up, keep holding the Triangle button. You should be able to control Coco in the demo and it'll just keep going. A few unusual things happen if you finish the level:

  • You will be sent to the 4th Warp Room (N. Gin's), but you will also be locked from the inside, and you can't get out, no matter what you do.
  • All levels from that Warp Room will be playable.
  • Even if you get all the Crystals in the hub you're stuck in, the boss button doesn't appear. This happens because you only have 5 Crystals, so the game thinks you've just finished the first 5 levels and locks all the buttons except for Tiny Tiger's, who you're supposed to defeat next.
  • When entering/exiting a level, you don't get the funky screen distortion you usually would. Instead, the screen just rapidly fades like when a gameplay demo begins.
  • Crash has all of the super powers in his possession (even the Bazooka and the Crash Dash, which you only get after defeating N. Gin).
  • Crash has no crystals or gems except for those you collect.
  • The time vortex cutscenes are those of Warp Room 1.
  • You can't turn the vibration on because the game still thinks a demo is running.

New Game With All Super Powers: Repeat the previous glitch. Once you're in control of Coco in Bye Bye Blimps, pause the game and exit the level. You will appear at the centre of the Time Twister with all Super Powers in your possession.

Extra Collectibles (contributed by Angel of Death, crashbandicoot2000 and psxdriverplayer): As you may know, jumping on multiple enemies consecutively, you get bonus fruits. The more enemies you jump on, the more fruits you get, until you start receiving extra lives.

By doing an incredibly long combo, you will actually receive extra crystals and gems. There are never enough enemies in the same level to do this in the game (let alone close to each others), but it is possible to get a longer combo than usual by bouncing repeatedly on an arrow box. After jumping hundreds of times on one and landing on an enemy, you should hear an odd clicking sound and receive a prize you're not supposed to. An alternative method is to spin enemies and immediately crouching, repeating the process ad nauseum. Crouching enables you to keep the combo active, so you can use this to your advantage in a place where enemies continuously respawn in your direction.

The prizes you can get are:

  • 200-299 bounces: A crystal for each bounce after 200 (though you can only hold up to 64).
  • 300-399 bounces: A clear gem for each bounce after 300. The last 6 bounces in this range give you colored gems.
  • 400-499 bounces: A sapphire relic for each bounce after 400.
  • 500-599 bounces: A gold relic for each bounce after 500.
  • 600-699 bounces: A platinum relic for each bounce after 600.
  • 700+ bounces: A super power.

You can get a much higher completion percentage than you're supposed to by exploiting this glitch. The maximum percentage is 999%, after which the game will crash.
