Description

A fluffy panda girl who lives in a bamboo forest. Complemented by a hyperactive nature, her crazy love for extreme speeds shines on the race track, where she first met Crash Bandicoot and his sister Coco. The three of them teamed up against Nitros Oxide to defend her home from another one of his arbitrary schemes, with just as arbitrary rules.

She likes to try and seem intimidating, but Yaya's unimposing growls are further offset by her bubbly disposition and cuddly appearance. She's very nimble and flexible, hinting at some experience with martial arts. Perhaps this explains her occasional Kiai shouts and the Tai Chi pants she wears below her Kimono. I swear these are all real words.

Anecdotes

• Yaya is the only main character to have been created for a mobile game (Crash Nitro Kart 2).
• Amusingly, her bottom half was never shown in any of her original appearances. In Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, it was shown that she does, indeed, have legs.
