Yellow Cortex

Yellow Cortex

(contributed by Crashnconker)

This screenshot is on the back of the NTSC-U and PAL boxes. It shows a yellow Cortex design that isn't in the game at all. All characters except for Crash have retained their Japanese character models outside Japan. Either this screenshot is a mock-up or at one point they were making different character models outside Japan for other characters besides Crash.

Blank

In the final version, this scene shows the characters with a shocked look and their mouths wide open. Here they just have a blank expression.

  • The bottom two panels don't appear in the game: Cortex is never shown receiving the Viscount's letter, and Crash reads over Coco's shoulder.
  • The Viscount's pose is different.

Bikini Bandicoot

Bikini Bandicoot

Crunch's room has a poster of a bandicoot girl wearing a blue sports outfit, as seen here on the left. She originally wore a red bikini and had shorter hair and thicker thighs, as seen on the right. The unused version is still present in the game's data.
