Psychetron

One of Dr. Neo Cortex's most intricate creations, the Psychetron was, in its inventor's own words, a "gateway amongst the infinite dimensions". It resided in Cortex's Iceberg Lab and could warp the entire place into a different dimension, along with everyone and everything in it.

The Psychetron uses power crystals to travel between dimensions, but it's a delicate machine and it often malfunctions. This sometimes leads to unpredictable results, such as opening a passageway to a person's brainoval hyperbarium (a section of the brain where the person's thoughts and personality materialize).

After Cortex tried to use the Psychetron to get rid of Crash Bandicoot, the device broke down and he was instead warped to Crash's brainoval hyperbarium.
