Collectibles - Scans - Print Ads
Crash Bandicoot
(contributed by CrashRatchetFan and Lars E. Mou)The second ad is written in Danish, and it reads: Take a long break from Crash Bandicoot when you feel like you're gonna crush everything around you.
The third ad showcases a music CD that had nothing to do with video games at all. An image of the CD can be found here.
Crash Bandicoot 2
(contributed by Lars E. Mou, CrashRatchetFan, and Dingodile555)The first ad is written in Danish, and it reads: If you act like Crash Bandicoot, you risk going to the school psychologist.
If you look closely at the second ad, you can see a prototype cover for the game.
Crash Bandicoot 3
(contributed by CrashRatchetFan)To promote the heavy use of vehicles in the game, Crash is portrayed as a daredevil. The ladies just can't resist that charming charisma and orange fur.
Crash Team Racing
(contributed by CrashRatchetFan)No road rage here.
Crash Bash
Crash is the master of camouflage.
The Wrath of Cortex
(contributed by Keiji Dragon and Dingodile555)Some of these ads are just the right amount of stupid.
The Huge Adventure (XS)
(contributed by CrashRatchetFan)The first ad is an obvious parody of detergent commercials.
The second and third ads shrink down our favourite guy-in-Crash-suit to promote the portable aspect of the game, as well as its dumb plot.
The Wrath of Cortex / The Huge Adventure
Someone got paid to draw Crash Bandicoot in bed with 4 women. Dwell on that.
N-Tranced
(contributed by Crashratchetfan)The first ad promotes the multiplayer features of the game. Maybe they should have offered a link cable instead.
Crash Nitro Kart
(contributed by Danyel)The third scan features a removed character, Bikini Babe.
Crash Twinsanity
(contributed by Crashnconker and Rexy)The two guys with their thumbs up are from MTV's Jackass. There were a few TV commercials for Twinsanity with both of them trying to mimic Crash and Cortex's cartoony antics. It wasn't that funny. I also think spanking was the most (erm, possibly only) advertised idle animation of all time.
Crash of the Titans
(contributed by Smaz)The first scan is a two-page advertisement, with art traced off character renders. The second scan is just the cover art for the game.
Mind Over Mutant
(contributed by Crashpro3)The image in this scan is recycled from the back of the box.
Skateboarding Trick Contest
(contributed by lionessb)Crash gets festive and sportive in this Italian event held at Milano on October 11, 2008. Contestants brought their skateboards and participated in freestyle trick runs, both to show off their moves and also to have a chance at winning a brand new Xbox 360, a copy of Mind Over Mutant and a Crash t-shirt.
Mind Over Mutant Topolino Scan
(contributed by Danyel)A scan promoting the multiplayer mode from Mind Over Mutant. Taken from the Italian magazine Topolino (Mickey Mouse's name in Italy).
