Crash Bandicoot: WARPED - Trivia

General Trivia

  • Crash has 30 000 frames of animation, much more than any other video-game character at the time.
  • Like Crash, Coco is completely silent throughout the game.
  • This was one of the few games to have PocketStation compatibility in Japan.
  • The promotional artwork of Crash and Coco on the motorcycle is a parody of Terminator 2.
  • The Arabian levels seem highly inspired by Disney's Aladdin, with waist coat-wearing monkeys (like Abu), enemies in black and red robes (like Jafar), and magic carpets.
  • Some walls in the Egypt levels depict a black dog named Morgan, Naughty Dog's pet at the time.

Music

  • The theme song was remixed numerous times for other games. It became the theme song for Crash Bash, The Wrath of Cortex, The Huge Adventure/XS, and N-Tranced. It's also heard in the first cutscene of Crash Nitro Kart, and for a while, it was intended to be used in Crash of the Titans as well.
  • All of the returning characters from the previous games are accompanied by remixes of their previous leitmotifs.
