Crash Tag Team Racing - Regional Differences

Note: All of the changes done for PAL regions were carried over to NTSC-U/C in the PlayStation Portable release.

Animations

Some missing character animations were added to the PAL release. In the original NTSC-U/C release, N. Gin wouldn't react when you jumped on him, and Japanese Crash (unlocked via cheat) lacked several animations, such as spinning. He's still incomplete in this version, however, lacking proper racing animations.

Due to the PAL version's multilanguage support, the captions beneath the image shown during Chick and Stew's initial report were omitted from the introductory FMV cutscene.

Japanese Crash

This was the first game in the series to feature a different character model for Crash in Japan. Crash has the design used there for all promotional artwork in most games, and one of his idle animations is his signature dance, a popular feature that originated in this country. The Star Crash costume looks completely different, and the Realistic Crash, Nega Crash, and Mad Crash costumes are all missing (they're left in the game's code, but they all look the same as before except for the latter, which despite being fully modelled, lacks animations).
